“X” marks the spot

“Rrrr” mates!  We started the morning by reading and coloring our treasure map.  Pirates booty on special pirate plates was for snack  and pirate tattoos were available for any who wanted them.

 

 You have to look closely at the outfit pictured below. X marks the spot on the treasure maps in this pirate themed dress. Way to get into character.

Liz took the children in small groups on a treasure hunt- of course they found treasure. You will have to ask your child about their treasure hunting adventure.

 

We ended the day reading   Shiver Me Letters; A Pirate ABC’s. It was a fun day- one of the children said It was “the best day ever”!
